The wedding on the beach was a small, intimate wedding with a lot of really great people. Traveling all the way back to the states from Dubai, Tonya and Kevin found a fun slice of Americana here at York Beach for their destination wedding, and it was a great backdrop for not only beach images, but also fantastic things to shoot off the beach.

The wedding was at South Seas Island Resort, one of my favorite places to shoot weddings. I also had the pleasure of working with Kelly McWilliams and everyone from Weddings By Socialites again. If you want a wedding to go smoothly, Weddings By Socialites is the way to go–always on top of any situation that might come up. Very professional group of people, and they know how to plan a successful wedding.

Flew down for the wedding last week to shoot in 80 degree weather and then came back home to Maine to edit all the photos while 8 inches of snow fell outside my window–hope you enjoy the photos! Flew down to meet Elaine and Phil to photograph their elopement at the Inn at Perry Cabin recently. Had a blast getting to know them and wandering around St. Michaels. Absolutely beautiful spot for a wedding. If you don’t know much about it, just rent the movie ‘Wedding Crashers’ and check it out–there are a few scenes from the movie that were filmed at this location.
